What We Are Making

Jellingstone began on April 26, 2026, a father-and-son forge of vibe coding, AI prompting, game design, TypeScript, Three.js, and many good laughs by the hearth.

It is a tiny playable Viking village where Harold Bluetooth can walk the coast, gather supplies, talk with villagers, study the Jelling Stone, build defenses, and hold the shore against raiders.

What You Can Do Now

A living prototype, not a trailer

The village already has movement, combat, resources, building, raids, a rune menu, creator messages, and a growing coast around it.

Guide Harold with click or tap movement.
Talk with villagers and use the Jelling Stone.
Gather wood, meat, fish, fur, and Rune Points.
Assign villagers to useful work.
Build palisades, towers, and storehouses.
Defend the village from longboat raids.

The village is still growing. These are the next big dreams and near-term improvements we are shaping from playtests and the project todo list.

Share villages with friends, then raid, defend, and compare the settlements you build.
Trade with other villages, conquer rival settlements, and unite Denmark and Scandinavia under Harald Bluetooth's banner.
A single-player campaign with dungeons, boss fights, and new threats beyond the village coast.
Farms that grow barley, adding another resource to gather, protect, and spend.
A diary or journal where discovered guidance messages can be reread.
Clearer villager callouts, hint dialogue, raid readability, and resource-stealing moments.
More satisfying building controls, including better placement orientation before confirming.

Leave a message for Thomas and Seth from the rune menu and earn bonus Rune Points.
Give villagers jobs so the settlement feels more alive and useful.
